Chandralok Restaurant & Bhojnalaya

We are Chandralok Restaurant & Bhojnalaya, situated right on G T Road in Aurai. Our spot is right beside the Union Bank in Sant Ravi Nagar. Being on the highway means we see a lot of different people every day. It’s mostly truck drivers and families traveling long distances. The building is a simple concrete structure. Inside, we have long tables and benches where people can sit down and eat a proper meal. We don't do fancy snacks or light bites. We just serve the kind of food that fills you up for a long journey. The kitchen stays busy from early morning until late at night. My brothers and I handle the cooking and the cleaning. It’s hard work and the heat from the road makes it sweatier. We keep the fans running all the time to stay comfortable. The floors are stone and we wash them every day because of the dust. We don't have a website or any online presence. People just see our sign from the road and pull over. We’ve been here in Bhadohi for a long time. The highway has changed, it’s much wider now, but we are still in the same spot. We don't have a printed menu; we just tell you what we cooked today. It’s a basic, honest place to get some food. We don't have any big corporate ideas. We just want to serve the travelers who pass by.
