Our shop is located right on the Salem Main Road, specifically at the Konganapuram Pirivu junction. You really cannot miss us because we are directly opposite the Federal Bank. It is a very busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of noise from the buses and lorries passing by at all hours of the day. Being across from the bank is actually quite helpful because people use it as a landmark when they are trying to find us for the first time. We handle a lot of different trading goods here, mostly things that the local people and farmers in this part of the region need. The floor is usually covered in some dust from the road, no matter how many times we try to sweep it out. We have been working out of this spot for a good while now and we know most of the people who live around here by their first names. It is a straightforward business where we spend most of our time counting stock, loading up small vehicles, and talking to customers who come in to check prices. We do not have any big slogans or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and get to work. When the sun starts to go down, the traffic on Salem Main Road gets even heavier, and that is usually our busiest time before we finally close up and head home for dinner.
