Rama Food Products

Rama Food Products is based in Village Khadial. We are in the Sangrur district, not too far from Jawanda Road. Even though the name says food products, we are mostly focused on the rice side of things here. The village is a quiet place most of the time, which we like. Our facility is a straightforward building with high ceilings to keep it a bit cooler, though it doesn't always work in July. We have a few different machines for cleaning and sorting. It’s not the most modern setup you’ll ever see, but it gets the job done for us. We are just off the path from Jawanda Road, so it’s easy enough for the transport to get in and out without getting stuck. We don't have any big slogans or anything like that. We just come in, start the motors, and see what the day brings. Sometimes the grain isn't as dry as we’d like, so we have to wait, and other times everything goes perfectly. Sangrur is a major area for this kind of work, so we fit right in with the landscape. The office is just a corner of the main building with a small window looking out over the yard. We usually have the radio playing some local music while we work. It’s a regular life in a regular village. We don't try to be anything we aren't, just a local mill handling the local harvest.
