I’ve been doing this for a while here in Malerkotla. My office is right across from Dasnesh on Rajkot Road, House No 621/23. People come by when they want to build something. I spend a lot of time at my desk looking at blue prints or sketches. Sometimes the phone rings too much and other times it is quiet. It is just me mostly, working on whatever project comes through the door. I try to listen to what people want for their homes. Building a house is a big deal for folks here, so I take it seriously. There are papers everywhere most days. Coffee helps when I have to stay late to finish a drawing. Malerkotla has its own way of doing things, and I like being part of that. I do not have a big fancy team or anything like that. If you stop by, you will see me sitting there. The traffic outside can get loud, but I am used to it now. I have seen the town change a lot over the years. Some days are just about measuring things or checking on site progress. It is hard work but keeps me busy. I try to make sure things are done right according to the rules. If anyone needs to find me, I am usually around the office during the day unless I am out looking at a plot. It is a small place but it works for what I do.
