Jai Bholenath Traders

Jai Bholenath Traders is tucked away at Booth No. 6, right at the back side of the New Sabzi Mandi on Jakhal Road in Sangrur. Being so close to the vegetable market means our days start way before most people are even awake. The sounds of trucks backing up and people shouting out prices is just the background music to our work. Our booth is small and filled with crates and sacks, leaving just enough room for a desk and a couple of chairs for visitors. We deal with various traders and farmers who come through the Mandi every day. It’s a fast-paced environment and you have to be quick to keep up with the flow of things. The floor is usually covered in some bit of straw or dust from the market outside. We don't have a lot of time for formalities; it’s mostly about getting the deals done and the goods moved. On rainy days, the area around the booth can get quite messy, but that’s just part of being near a Mandi. We’ve been in this spot for a good while and have seen the market grow and change around us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily tally. It’s honest work that keeps us on our feet, and we’re quite used to the hustle and bustle of Jakhal Road by now.
