Vittal Spices Private Limited is located in Sangliwadi, which is part of Sangli. Our place is in Kumbhar Galli at Sn No. 396/3. Sangli is very well known for its spice trade, especially turmeric. Being in Kumbhar Galli means we are right in an older part of the town where things have been done the same way for years. The streets around us are quite narrow and can get very crowded on market days. Our building is a practical one, built for storage and work rather than for show. We spend most of our time dealing with raw spices. The air inside our facility always has a strong, sharp smell that stays with you. It’s a lot of physical work, moving bags and making sure the spices are kept dry. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. We mostly just have a small desk for the ledgers and the rest of the space is for the spices. We’ve been here for a while and the people in the neighborhood know us well. We don't use any big marketing words to describe what we do. We just buy spices, pack them, and sell them. Sometimes the equipment breaks down and we have to spend the afternoon fixing it ourselves. It’s just how things go. We are a small team and we like the direct way of doing things. It's just a regular local business in Sangli.
