Viswa Food Packers

Viswa Food Packers is located at 14-78 on Anand Nagar Road in Islampur. It is a busy place where we spend most of our time packing food items into bags and boxes. The building is right on the main road, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the passing traffic. Inside, we have a few machines that help us with the sealing and weighing, but a lot of the work is still done by hand. We have bags of grain and pulses stacked up high near the loading area. The floor is usually covered in a bit of whatever we are packing that day. It isn't a fancy food facility like you see on television. It is a practical workspace where we focus on getting the orders ready for the local shops. The team consists of people from the neighborhood who have been working together for a long time. We start our shift early in the morning to beat the heat of the afternoon. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend hours fixing them with whatever tools we have. We don't have a website or a marketing team. People find us because they know we are here on Anand Nagar Road. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is a bit messy and loud, but it is how we make our living here in Islampur.
