Swaraj Udyog

Swaraj Udyog is sitting at Plot No-856 in Budhgoan. If you know where the taxi stand is, we’re just a short walk from there. It’s a convenient spot in the Miraj taluka. We’ve got a small workshop and a bit of yard space where we keep our materials. Most days, you’ll find us tinkering with something or other. We don't have a big staff, so everyone does a little bit of everything. One minute you’re talking to a customer, and the next you’re loading a cart or fixing a tool that broke. It gets a bit messy sometimes, with scraps of metal or wood lying around, but we know where everything is kept. We don't follow a strict schedule. We open when we get here and stay until the work is finished for the day. Sometimes that means staying late under the dim lights, and other times we finish early if it’s slow. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any brochures to hand out. If you want to know what we do, you just have to ask us directly. We’ve lived in this district our whole lives, so we know most of the people who come through the gate. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us fed and busy. That’s all we really need out of a business. We usually spend Sunday afternoons just cleaning up the shop for the upcoming week.
