You can find Shweta Medicine at City Survey 13 on the Sangli-Miraj Road. We are right there at Ghandi Chowk, which is a very busy intersection for anyone traveling between the two towns. Being near Mission Hospital means there are always people around, day and night. Our shop stays quite busy because of that location. We have tall glass counters where we keep the most requested items. The traffic at Ghandi Chowk is never really quiet, so there is a constant sound of horns and engines in the background while we work. We have to be very fast with our hands because people are often in a hurry to get back to the hospital or catch a bus. The shelves go all the way to the top, so we use a small step ladder to reach the things on the upper rows. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than three people are inside at once. We don't have any flashy signs inside, just the medicine boxes and some old ledgers. The Sangli-Miraj Road is always being repaired or widened, so there’s often some construction dust drifting in. We just keep a cloth handy to wipe things down. It’s a practical place for practical needs. We’ve grown used to the pace of life at the chowk and the specific needs of the people coming from the hospital nearby. We just focus on getting the right boxes to the right people.
