Over in Islampur, at 207 Mantri Colony, you’ll find our mill. Semolina Roller Flour Mill Private Limited is located in the Trupti Building, right across from the Ishanya Siddhi Apartment. If you live around here, you know the area is mostly quiet residential streets, but we have our mill tucked in there. It’s a dusty job, that’s for sure. The machines make a lot of noise when they are grinding the grain into flour, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend our days checking the quality of the grain coming in and making sure the flour comes out the way it should. It’s a very hands-on process. We don’t have any fancy marketing people or a big headquarters. It’s just us and the machines. Sometimes the power goes out and everything stops, which is a bit of a headache, but that’s just life in a town like this. We know the people in Mantri Colony well. They see us coming and going every day. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a place of work where we put in our hours. We’ve kept it going this long through hard work. It’s steady work, and we like the feeling of providing something basic and necessary like flour. It keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down and we head home.
