Gagan Impex

Gagan Impex is situated right on Imamwada Road, very close to Saboo Siddik Hospital. It’s a crowded area with lots of people walking by and cars honking all day long. Our address is 80/82, and it’s a building that has a lot of history to it. You can see the hospital from our front entrance. Being in this part of town means there is never a dull moment. We deal with imports and exports, mostly sitting behind our desks and making sure the numbers add up. The office is a bit cramped because we have so many files stacked up everywhere. We’ve tried to organize them, but more always seem to arrive. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the construction nearby, but we don’t mind it much. We know the tea seller around the corner really well, and he brings us chai twice a day. That’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. Our work isn't glamorous. It involves a lot of checking and re-checking lists. The staff here has been together for a while, so we know how each other works. It’s a noisy street, but once the shutters are down in the evening, it finally gets peaceful. We just stay focused on our tasks and try to get through the daily pile of work before heading home. It's a long day sometimes, but that is how it goes here for everyone.
