Srinivasa Degree College

Srinivasa Degree College is located on Brahmin Street in Medak. It’s right in the middle of a busy area, so there is always something going on outside our doors. The street is narrow and has that old-town feel that Medak is known for. If you come by in the morning, you’ll see students standing around the entrance talking before their first class. The building is a few stories high and squeezed in among other local shops and houses. Inside, the hallways can be a bit cramped when everyone is moving between rooms, but we make it work. Most of our students are from nearby villages and they take the bus or walk to get here. We have a small office where all the paperwork happens, and it’s usually piled high with folders and registers. The classrooms have wooden benches and blackboards that have seen better days, but they are still sturdy. It’s not a flashy place with modern art on the walls or anything like that. We just focus on getting through the daily schedule. During the breaks, students head out to the local tea stalls on Brahmin Street to get a snack. It has been a part of this neighborhood for years, and we know many of the shopkeepers around here by name. It is just a regular degree college where people come to get their work done and move on to the next thing in life.
