Arzu Brick Works

We run Arzu Brick Works out in Village Bilalpath. It is a bit of a drive out here in Asmoli, but it’s a good spot for what we do. Being in the Sambhal tehsil area of Moradabad means we see a lot of local folks coming by. We are situated quite close to Asian College, so that makes it easier for people to give directions to our place. Making bricks is dusty work, and we are usually covered in it by the end of the day. It’s just how things are at the kiln. We have a small crew and we’ve been working this land for some time. The process hasn't changed much over the years. We wait for the right weather to dry things out. If it rains, everything stops, which can be frustrating, but you can’t fight nature. We just wait for the sun to come back out. People from the surrounding villages know us well enough. We don’t have a big corporate team or anyone answering phones in a fancy way. It is usually just one of us wiping our hands on a cloth before picking up. We try to stay busy and keep the supplies moving out to the sites. It’s basic work but it’s important for building up the area. We’re just local people doing a local job near the post office. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just stacks of bricks and some hard work every day.
