Our place is over in Ward No.12, Kashipur. It is a bit tucked away but people seem to find us alright once they are in the area. Usually, the morning starts with moving boxes around because there is never enough space. We have stacks of stuff everywhere and you have to be careful not to trip over a pile of papers. The shelves are mostly full and sometimes the books get a bit dusty if they’ve been sitting there for a while. We don’t have a big fancy storefront with glass windows. It is more of a practical setup where we get things sorted and sent out to whoever needs them. The street outside can get quite busy with cycles and people walking by. On hot days, the fan just moves the warm air around but we get used to it after a while. Sometimes someone walks in looking for something specific and we have to dig through the back to see if it’s there. Most of the guys here have been doing this for a long time so we know where most things are hidden. We drink a lot of tea while we work. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits. We just wear whatever is comfortable for lifting boxes and moving things around. By the time we close up, our hands are usually a bit dirty. It is just a regular retail spot doing regular things every day.
