Kum Kum Computers

If you go down to Taj Pur, you’ll find Kum Kum Computers right near the hospital shop. Being close to the hospital means we see people from all over who are just passing through. We opened up here because it seemed like a good central spot. We fix computers and sell a few accessories when we have them in stock. It’s not a huge place, just a simple shop where we do our work. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power cuts out, but we manage. We’ve got a couple of desks piled with motherboards and screws. You have to be careful where you step. We try to be fair with people. If something isn’t worth fixing, we’ll just say so. There is no point in wasting someone’s money. We get a lot of students coming in from the nearby areas too. They usually have laptops that they dropped or spilled something on. Accidents happen, and we’ve seen it all. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People just know where we are. We keep a notebook to track who left what device. It's a bit old-fashioned but it works for us. Most of our days are spent under a desk lamp looking at tiny circuits. It’s quiet work mostly. We like being in Taj Pur. It is a busy little area but it feels like home to us now.
