Goutam Marble

Goutam Marble is easy to find if you are near Dharampur Chowk. We are located on Taj Pur Road, right by the Kuamr Vivah Bhawan. If you see the Hyundai showrooms, you are pretty much there. It’s a lively area, especially when there’s a wedding going on next door at the Vivah Bhawan. We have music playing from the celebrations quite often. Our business is all about stone. We keep a variety of marble and granite stacks all over the place. It’s not the cleanest job because cutting and moving stone creates a lot of grit. We usually have our hands dirty by noon. We aren't a big corporation. It’s just us and a few workers who know how to handle the slabs without breaking them. Most customers come in looking for something specific for a kitchen or a floor. We walk them through the rows of stone and show them the different batches. No two pieces are ever exactly the same, which is what we tell everyone. We don't have a fancy sales team. We just talk to people like neighbors. Sometimes the traffic at Dharampur Chowk gets backed up, which makes deliveries a bit slow, but we manage. We’ve been on Taj Pur Road for several years and have seen plenty of people come and go. We just stay focused on our work. It’s a simple, honest business. We show the stock, agree on a price, and get it loaded up for the customer. That is really all there is to it.
