Gordess Public School

Gordess Public School is located on Hasanpur Road in Samastipur. We are right there in Hasanpur, serving the families who live in this part of the district. The school is not very big, but we make do with what we have. We have got several classrooms and a small area where the kids can play during their breaks. Most of our students walk to school or come on bicycles, so the front gate is always crowded in the mornings. We focus on the basic subjects, making sure the kids can read, write, and do their sums properly. The teachers are locals who understand the challenges families face here. We do not have a lot of expensive equipment or a big bus fleet. It is a modest setup. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the windows for more light. That is just how things are sometimes in this area. We try to keep the atmosphere calm so the children can focus on their books. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the learning is what matters most to us. We handle everything from admissions to daily cleaning ourselves. It is a lot of work to keep a school running in a place like Samastipur, but we have been doing it for years. We just take things one day at a time and try to be a reliable place for the community’s children.
