Dr. L K V D College is right there in Tajpur, which is part of Samastipur. If you’ve ever been to this part of Bihar, you know it’s mostly about the local community and the land. Our college at 27 Tajpur is a pretty simple setup. We don't have the big, shiny buildings you see in the cities. Instead, we have older rooms that have seen a lot of students come and go over the years. It’s a bit of a walk for some students who come from the outskirts, and the roads aren't always in the best shape, especially when the monsoon hits. Inside, things are quiet for the most part, except for when classes are letting out. We don’t go in for fancy decorations or expensive equipment that nobody knows how to use. We just focus on the basics. The teachers here are local people who understand what it’s like to live and study in Samastipur. We see a lot of kids who are the first in their families to go to college, which makes the work feel like it matters, even on the days when it’s just boring paperwork. It’s a humble place, and we’re okay with that. We don't try to impress anyone; we just show up and do what needs to be done for the students who rely on us. There's no polish here, just a lot of real effort.
