Don Basco School is tucked away in Ward No. 29 in the Magardahi area of Samastipur. If you walk down the street, you’ll find us right there among the local shops and houses. The school building isn't huge, but it fits what we need for the kids here. Most mornings, you will see parents dropping off their children on bicycles or scooters, and the street gets quite crowded for a little while. Magardahi is a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside the gates. We have a simple setup inside with classrooms that have seen plenty of students over the years. The walls might need a bit of paint here and there, and the playground isn't massive, but it works for the lunch breaks. We are just a group of teachers and staff trying to keep things running smoothly in 848101. Sometimes the electricity goes out or it gets too dusty when the wind picks up, but that is just life in Samastipur. We don't use fancy software for everything; a lot of our notes and records are still done the old way on paper. It's a very grounded place where we know the families from the neighborhood. Everyone who works here is just a regular person from the area. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local school that serves the people living in Ward 29 and nearby.
