State Express Ice Creams

You can find State Express Ice Creams at No:315 in the Sree Meenakshi Building. We are on 2nd New Street, right off the Ammapet Main Road in the Agraharam area. The building is an old one, and we are on the ground floor. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of shops packed together. The street is quite narrow, so parking is always a bit of a problem for people. We have a large glass window where you can see all the tubs of ice cream lined up. It takes a lot of effort to keep the place looking decent with so much foot traffic coming through. We get a lot of people coming from the main road after they do their shopping. My family has lived in this area for a long time, so we know the local history well. The shop gets a bit cramped during the festival seasons when everyone is out on the streets. We have a small fan that blows air around, but it still gets warm when the shop is full. We just keep our heads down and serve the people as they come. The Ammapet Main Road is always loud with horns and people shouting. We are just one small part of that daily noise. It’s a plain shop, we don't have fancy decorations, just the essentials to keep the ice cream frozen and the customers served before they head home.
