Solar Technics

Our place is on the 2nd floor of A.V.K Arcade, room 315. It’s right across from the New Bus Stand, so there’s always people moving around outside. Solar Technics is a small setup. We don't have an elevator that works all the time, so the stairs keep us fit. The office is basically one big room where we keep all our supplies and the computer. It’s a bit loud because of the buses honking across the street, but you get used to it after a week or two. We spend our mornings planning and our afternoons out at various sites. It’s not a fancy corporate office with carpets and air conditioning in every corner. We have a couple of fans that do their best. There’s usually a pile of paperwork on the desk that needs sorting. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a big lobby. Most of the time, the guys are out in the field and I’m here answering the phone. It’s a simple way to run a business. Being near the bus stand is handy for getting parts delivered. We just do the work that comes our way and try to keep things moving. It’s a lot of climbing up and down those stairs, but we don’t mind it much. Just a regular business doing regular work. We just stay focused on the day ahead and try to be helpful.
