Our place is right on 22, Attur Bypass Road. It’s a busy spot with trucks going by all day long. We have been here for a good while now, just running S K Crane Services from this yard. It’s not a fancy setup, just a lot of gravel and the machines parked in rows. We usually start pretty early when the sun is just coming up. The dust from the bypass gets on everything, so we spend a lot of time just wiping down windows and checking the engines. It’s mostly just us and the drivers. If you walk in, you’ll probably find someone drinking tea or looking at a clipboard. We don’t have any big offices with air conditioning. It’s just a practical spot for the work we do. People around here know us by the yellow cranes you can see from the road. Sometimes the traffic is a mess, but being right on the bypass helps when we need to get a crane out to a job quickly. We handle the phone calls ourselves, mostly just talking to folks who need something moved. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it’s how we’ve always done it. There isn't much to say about the building itself, it's just a place to keep the gear safe and dry. We just focus on keeping the machines running so they are ready when the next call comes in.
