P S K Civil Contractors

We run P S K Civil Contractors out of a place at Number 4/248, H-2 in Bharati Nagar, Jagirammapalayam. It is a bit of a trek to get out here if you are coming from the city center, but we like the space. We have a yard where we keep some of the materials and the office is just a simple room with a few tables and chairs. It gets quite dusty because of all the construction supplies moving in and out all the time. You will usually find us checking through lists of materials or trying to get the laborers organized for the next day. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is a nice change from the actual work sites we visit. We have a big calendar on the wall that is covered in scribbles and dates, mostly because we are always juggling three or four things at once. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait around to send emails, which gives us time to chat with the neighbors. It is a hands-on kind of life. We do not wear suits or have fancy meetings. Usually, we are in boots and shirts that are stained with a bit of dirt or cement. We have been in Jagirammapalayam long enough that everyone knows who we are. It is just about getting the work done and making sure the trucks arrive on time. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk.
