Arumuga Earthmovers

Arumuga Earthmovers is out in Periakolapatti, near the Kanankurchi Post. Our place at 5/20/1 is more of a yard than a traditional office. We keep our heavy machines parked there when they aren't out on a job site. It’s a bit away from the main town center, so we have enough room for the big equipment. We have been in the earthmoving business for several years now. It’s hard work and involves a lot of maintenance to keep the engines running smoothly. Our boots are usually muddy and we spend a lot of time outside in the sun. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. Most of our business happens over the phone or while standing in the dirt next to a machine. We handle things like digging and clearing land for people in the local area. Kanankurchi is a quiet spot, and we like the peace out here. We aren't a huge company with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small, dedicated group of us. Sometimes the work is slow, and other times we are busy from dawn until dusk. We don't bother with fancy brochures or marketing. People just call us when they have a job that needs doing. It’s a practical, physical way to make a living. We just focus on keeping the machines in good shape and getting the digging done correctly for our neighbors. There is always another site that needs preparing, so we stay ready.
