Modern Exports

Modern Exports operates from No. 51 Pillaiyar Kovil Street in the Ranipet area of Attur. Despite the name, we aren't exactly a high-tech operation. Our building is a standard brick structure on a street named after the local temple. You can hear the temple bells in the mornings and evenings, which is quite nice actually. We do a lot of the heavy lifting here ourselves. The space is mostly taken up by workstations where we inspect the goods before they get boxed up for the long journey overseas. Ranipet is a busy place for industry, so there is always a lot of movement on the streets nearby. Our team is made up of about ten people who live in the surrounding neighborhoods. We don't have a big HR department or a set of complex rules. We just show up, do the work, and go home. If someone needs a day off for a family function, we just figure it out among ourselves. The paperwork for exporting can be quite a lot, so there’s always someone sitting at the corner desk with a pile of stamps and forms. We try to keep things organized, but when we have a rush of orders, the place looks a bit chaotic with tape and cardboard everywhere. It’s just the way a busy export house looks.
