Universal Enterprises

Our shop is down at 1/64 Chinnaiya Reddy Street in Pn Patty, which is over in Mettur Tk. Our building is a simple structure on a dusty road. We deal with all sorts of supplies and parts, so the shelves are packed from the floor to the ceiling. It’s hard to keep everything in order, but we usually know where to find a specific bolt or tool when someone asks for it. The door is almost always open to let some air in because it gets quite stuffy inside. We have an old wooden desk where we sit and handle the accounts. We use paper ledgers instead of fancy computers because it’s just easier for us. People from the village often stop by just to say hello or ask for a bit of help with a repair. We aren't a huge enterprise despite the name. It’s just a family-run spot that’s been here for years. We eat our lunch in the back room and take a short break when the sun is at its highest. Sometimes we run out of stock and have to wait for the truck to come from the city, which can take a few days. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know our face and where the shop is. It’s a quiet way to make a living, and we are happy staying right here.
