Merlion Fashions

You can find us at No. 109 Cuddalore Main Road, in the North Extension part of Ammapet. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always something going on outside our door. Merlion Fashions isn't a high-end boutique with soft lighting and fancy music. It’s a working space. We have tables piled high with different fabrics and sewing machines that have seen better days but still run fine. The light inside is a bit bright and clinical, but it helps us see the stitching clearly. We aren't trying to be the biggest name out there. We just like making clothes that people can actually use. Our team is small. A few of us have been working together for years, so we know each other's habits. We talk about the local news while we work. The North Extension area is full of life, which is nice. Sometimes the noise from Cuddalore Main Road makes it hard to hear, but we don't mind. We focus on the fabric. If a button is loose, we fix it. If a seam is crooked, we redo it. It’s simple work, really. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything. We just want to finish the orders on time and head home to our families. It’s a regular job for regular people. We are just here, day in and day out, doing the best with what we have. That is us.
