Our office for Shahi Exports Pvt. Ltd. is at No. 13 and 14 on Jagadesan Kadu, right on the Prabat Sankari Main Road. It is a good location for us because the main road makes it easy for the bigger trucks to find us without getting stuck in small side streets. We actually have two side-by-side units, which helps keep the office work separate from the packing and shipping area. The buildings are older and have those heavy metal doors that are a bit loud when you open them in the morning. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves, desks, and a lot of shipping tape. We have a small staff, and we’ve all been working together for a long time, so we don’t need to say much to get the job done. The walls have some old posters and maps of the shipping routes we use. It gets quite hot in the middle of the day, so we usually take a longer break then. There is a small tree out front that gives a bit of shade to the motorbikes. We don't have any polished brochures or a big marketing team; we just handle the export orders as they come in. It is a very practical, hands-on kind of business where everyone chips in with whatever needs doing at the time, even if it is just sweeping the floor.
