We run Aadhanya International out of an apartment unit here in Salem, specifically Flat 4C2 at Sun Palace. It’s on Pacha Road in Kannankurichi and the door number is 126. It’s a quiet enough place to get work done without all the noise of the main city center. Being in an apartment complex means we don't have a big sign outside, but people find us eventually. We handle international trade, mostly focusing on whatever needs to be moved that week. Salem is a good base for us because we know the area well. My cousin helped me set up the computers when we first moved in. The space is a bit cramped with all the files and samples laying around, but we manage just fine. We usually have the fan going full blast because it gets quite warm in the afternoons. Most of our day is spent on the phone or sending emails to suppliers. It’s funny how much time you spend waiting for a reply from someone halfway across the world. We aren't some massive corporation with hundreds of staff. It's just a few of us making sure things go where they are supposed to. We take our lunches together usually. If things are slow, we might close up a little early. It’s a simple operation really. No fancy meetings or long speeches, just getting the orders sorted and out the door.
