It is a very practical kind of business. The room is filled with bags of seeds, some tools, and books about farming. It is often quite humid here, so we keep the fans running at full speed all day. Outside, there are trees everywhere and the ground is that red Goan dirt that gets on everything. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If I am not at the desk, I am probably out back checking on some stock or talking to a delivery driver. People around here just call me by my name. We have been in this spot for a while, and the house number 136 is well known in the village.
