Agro Energy Engg. Works

You can find us on the Sahibabad Bhadeshi Road, right near K K Hospital in Zone 6. It’s a busy stretch of road and we are usually covered in grease by noon. We work on a lot of different machinery, mostly stuff for the farms and small workshops around Nagala Pala. The shop is full of old parts and tools that have been around as long as I have. We don't really have a front office, just a bench where we sit and talk to whoever comes in. Sometimes a farmer brings in a piece of equipment that is older than he is and asks us to fix it. We do what we can with what we have. It’s not high-tech engineering, just practical fixing and making things work again. The floor is stained with oil and there are piles of scrap metal in the corners. We listen to the radio while we work. When the sun goes down, we wash our hands with that heavy soap that never quite gets the black off. We aren't a big corporation with a board of directors. It’s just a few of us trying to keep the machines running. We’ve been here a long time and the neighbors know us well. It’s just steady, everyday work. We don't have a big fancy sign, but everyone knows where the workshop is when they need something mended.
