Venus Furnitures & Decorators

Venus Furnitures & Decorators is located right on Dehradun Road. It is a main stretch so there is always noise from the cars and buses passing by. We have a shop where we display some of the things we make. It is not a fancy gallery. It is more of a workshop with a front room. We do a lot of woodwork. We make beds, sofas, and dining tables. We also help people figure out how to set up their rooms. My grandfather started this kind of work and he passed it down. We use solid wood mostly. You can smell the polish and the sawdust when you walk in. Sometimes the shop is a bit of a mess because we are in the middle of a big project. We have fabric samples lying around for the sofas. Choosing the right color takes people forever. We just let them take their time. We don't push anyone to buy. If they like what they see, they buy it. We also do some painting and curtain work if someone asks. Dehradun Road is a busy place to work but we like the energy. We have regular customers who come back after ten years because their old chair finally broke. We fix things too. It is honest work. We don't have a fancy logo or a marketing team. It is just us and our tools. We stay open until late evening most days. That is just how the business runs for us.
