Qcs

This version of Qcs is run by Deepak Ku in the village of Chandpur. It’s quite far from the big cities, located near Badgaon in the Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Our office isn’t really an office in the way people in Delhi or Mumbai think of them. It’s more of a room where we keep our registers and the computer. Being in a village means the pace is a lot slower. We often have people from the neighborhood dropping by just to say hello or to ask about something. The roads here are mostly dirt and can get quite muddy when the rains come, but it’s home for us. We handle whatever comes our way, whether it's paperwork or helping out with local needs related to our work. The air is cleaner here than in the town, and you can see the fields from the doorway. We don’t have fancy furniture, just some sturdy wooden chairs and a table that has seen better days. Deepak oversees everything and makes sure we don’t fall behind on our tasks. We follow the rhythm of the day, starting early and closing up when the sun goes down. It’s a simple life and the work we do at Qcs reflects that. We don’t use big words or have complicated rules. We just do what needs to be done for the people in the Chandpur and Badgaon area. It works for us and the community.
