Hari Om Bangal

Our place is tucked away in the Mohalla Gli of Nala Bazar. If you know the area, you know how narrow the lanes can get and how much energy there is in the air. We deal with bangles and it’s a trade that has been around here forever. The shop isn't very large, but we make use of every inch of wall space to display the stock. You can hear the sounds of the market right through the walls, from the vendors shouting to the rickshaws trying to get through the crowd. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if it's your first time, but we like being right in the heart of the bazaar. We spend a lot of our time sorting through boxes and helping people find the right match for their outfits. Sometimes the colors are so bright they almost hurt your eyes after a few hours, but that is the charm of the work. We aren't trying to be some big brand or anything. We just want to provide what the local people are looking for. Usually, the morning starts with sweeping the front and setting out the displays. It is a lot of repetitive work, picking things up and putting them back, but it keeps us busy. We see a lot of regular faces every week. It’s just a honest local business in a very old part of the city.
