Apex Fabrication Tech

We’ve got our setup here at Chingi Stations, right opposite the By Pass in Saharanpur. It’s a handy location because the trucks can get in and out fairly easily from the bypass road. Apex Fabrication Tech is what we call the business, but mostly people just know us as the fabrication lot near the station. We do a lot of metal work, mostly welding and putting together different structures. The workshop is big enough for what we do, but it’s always full of iron and steel rods. It gets quite hot in the summer, especially with the torches going all day long. We don’t have an air-conditioned office or anything like that; we just work where the metal is. Sometimes the noise from the bypass is loud, but you get used to it after a week or so. We have a couple of guys who have been with us since we started. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. If a job comes in, we look at it, tell you what it’ll take, and then start. Some days are slower than others, but there’s usually something to grind or paint. We keep the scrap in the back corner until the collector comes round. It’s a straightforward business. We aren't trying to be the biggest in town, just trying to keep the work moving and the orders filled for people. That’s how we’ve always done it here in Saharanpur.
