Al-Diwan Impex

Al-Diwan Impex is based at 12/632, Purani Mandi Chowk. It’s a very busy part of town. We have been working out of this spot for quite a while now. The office is in an old building and the stairs are a bit narrow. Downstairs, there’s always a lot of noise from the market. We can hear the vendors and the scooters all day long. Inside, it’s mostly just us and a lot of paperwork. We have some samples lying around on the tables. It’s not very organized, but we know where everything is. Our team is small, just a few of us who have known each other for years. We usually start the day with a quick talk about what needs to go out. The weather in the chowk can get really hot, so we keep the windows shut sometimes. We aren’t a big company with fancy uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work. Sometimes the delivery trucks can't get close because the lanes are so tight. We have to move things by hand or on small carts. It’s a lot of physical work, but we are used to it by now. We don't really do much advertising. People just find us here at 12/632. We try to finish up by early evening so we can avoid the worst of the traffic. It’s just a simple, everyday business.
