Devi Agro Industries

We are out here in the Naogaon Industrial Area in the Sagar district. It’s a bit of a trek to get to if you aren’t used to this part of the region, but this is where all the processing happens. Our daily routine involves handling agricultural products, mostly raw stuff that comes in from the local farms nearby. The machinery can be quite loud when everything is running at once, and there is always dust around, which is just part of the job in agro industries. We spend most of our time making sure the machines don't break down and that the orders get loaded onto the trucks correctly. It’s not glamorous work, and the heat in the sheds can get pretty intense during the summer months. We have a small team here, mostly guys from the surrounding villages who have been with us since we started up in this industrial zone. We don't really do much advertising or anything fancy. People know we are here at our spot in Naogaon if they need what we produce. It’s just honest work, day in and day out. We try to keep our costs down so the prices stay okay for the farmers and buyers who rely on us. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out, that’s just how it is here. It’s a practical life and we just keep the production moving.
