Shaifali Steel Limited

We are located out in Sathamba, in the Bayad area. Being in the steel business means it gets hot and dusty, but that is just how it is. Our place is over in the S.K. district and it's a bit of a drive to get out here if you're coming from the city. Most of the people who work here are locals from the nearby villages. We deal with a lot of heavy loads and trucks coming in and out all day. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit of a mess, but we manage. It isn't a glamorous job, but steel is something people always need for building things. We've got our machines and our routine. We don't spend much time on fancy talk or long meetings. Usually, it's just about getting the orders sorted and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly. The sun hits the metal roofs here in Sathamba and it gets pretty warm in the afternoons. We usually take a break when it’s at its peak. Life here moves at its own pace, away from the rush of the big towns. We have been part of this landscape for a while now. If you come by, you’ll probably see a few of us sitting near the gate or checking the stock. It is hard work but it keeps us going and provides for our families.
