Jignesh Modi

My name is Jignesh Modi and I live out here in Tawarvas, which is part of Majara village. It is right on the National Highway 8, so we see a lot of trucks and cars going by all day and night. Things stay pretty busy in Prantij taluka. I have been around this part of Gujarat for a long time now. Life in the village is what it is, sometimes it's quiet but mostly there is work to do. I don't really have a big office or anything like that. I just do what needs to be done from here. My family has been in this area for years. Sometimes the dust from the highway gets to be a lot, but you get used to it after a while. Most people around here know me just as Jignesh. We don't really do things the fancy way. It is just about getting through the day and making sure the work is handled right. I spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors or people stopping by on their way through S.K. district. It isn’t always easy living so close to the main road, but it makes getting places simpler. I try to keep things honest and straightforward. There isn't much more to say really. Just a local person living and working in a small place near the highway. It’s home for us and we just get on with things and keep moving forward.
