Camrola Quartz Ltd.

Out here in Village Amodara, things move a bit differently than in the city. Camrola Quartz Ltd. is set up in this part of Taluka Prantij, and it’s a dusty place to work. We are surrounded by a lot of open land and the Sabarkantha sun can be really intense. Most of the day is spent dealing with stone and quartz. There is always a layer of grit on the windows and the sound of heavy equipment in the background. We have a lot of local guys working here who know the area well. It’s a long drive from the main town, so we mostly just stay on-site and get the work done. The yard is usually full of slabs and raw material waiting to be processed. We don't have fancy air conditioning in the main working areas, just big fans that try to move the air around. It's a lot of physical labor, moving things and making sure the cuts are right. Sometimes we have issues with the water supply or the dust gets to be too much, but we manage. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just process quartz and send it out to whoever needs it. It’s a basic life out here in the village, focused on the slabs and the machines. You get used to the heavy lifting and the way the stone smells when it’s being worked on for hours.
