J K Stores is a local spot located at 141, Phase 6 in Mohali, right near Chandigarh. If you live around Phase 6, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times. We are just a regular store that deals with the daily needs of the people in the neighborhood. The shelves are always being restocked, and there’s usually a bit of a mess in the back room where we keep the extra inventory. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, where we know most of the people who come in by their first names. We don't have a big corporate board or a team of consultants telling us how to arrange the aisles. We just put things where they make sense and try to keep the prices fair. The morning starts early when the deliveries arrive, and we stay open until the sun goes down and the street gets quiet. Mohali is a nice place to have a shop because people are generally friendly and don't mind waiting a minute if we’re busy helping someone else. We don’t have a website with a bunch of fancy photos or a mission statement that no one reads. We just have the store, the counter, and the items people need for their homes. It’s simple work, but it’s what we know and we enjoy being part of the daily routine here in our neighborhood.
