Ishar Offset

Ishar Offset is located at Plot No.A-13, right near the Durga Mandir in the Main Bazar. Being so close to the temple means we hear the bells and the crowds every single day. The bazar is always moving, and our shop is just one small part of that noise. We’ve got the offset machines tucked into the back and they make a rhythmic thumping sound that you can feel in the floorboards. The front area is where we meet people and look over their proofs. There are always stacks of finished work waiting to be picked up, wrapped in brown paper and tied with string. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. Our hands usually have a bit of blue or black ink on them by noon, and it never quite washes off completely. The walls are covered in old samples of posters and wedding cards we’ve done over the years. Some of them are fading now but we leave them up anyway. When the festival season hits, the bazar gets incredibly crowded and it's hard to even get through the front door. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines running through the heat and the dust. It’s a busy life but we like being right in the middle of everything near the mandir. There is always someone stopping by for a chat or to check on an order they need soon.
