We operate out of number 34 in Malik Colony. It’s a residential-looking area but we have our trading setup right here. We deal with supplies mostly. Boxes everywhere is the standard look for us. We've been in this colony for years. People know us as the place where trucks pull up now and then. It’s a lot of inventory management. Counting things, moving things, making sure they get to where they need to go. It’s not a glamorous job. My hands are usually a bit dirty from handling boxes. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is nearest to the door. We handle a variety of items. It depends on the season and what people are asking for. Sometimes the paperwork gets a little behind, but we catch up on the weekends. It’s just a small family-run feel. We know the neighbors. They don't mind the noise too much. We try to keep things tidy, but when a shipment comes in, the whole place is a maze for a day or two. It’s just how trading works. We keep it simple and honest. No big speeches about what we do. We just trade. Sometimes the delivery guys stay for a glass of water and a chat. It makes the day go faster. We’ve seen the kids in the colony grow up over the years. It feels like we’re part of the furniture now.
