Up here in Village Bamyala, life moves at its own pace. Rawat Agro Novelty is based right at Madhav Singh Rawat’s place. If you’re looking for us, you have to head towards the Tangsa Post Office and then find your way to Bamyala in Chamoli. It’s a beautiful area, but farming on these slopes isn't easy for anyone. We started this because we wanted to have something local for the farmers around these hills. We deal with agro products that make sense for this specific terrain. It’s a small operation, mostly run out of a simple room with a desk and some storage. The roads up here in Chamoli can be tricky when it rains, which often slows down our supplies. We spend a lot of time just waiting for the post or for a truck to make it up the winding roads. It’s not like the big cities where everything happens fast. We have to be patient and work with what the seasons give us. Sometimes we sit outside and talk to neighbors about how their crops are doing this year. It’s more of a community thing than a big business. We don’t use any fancy tech, just a phone and some old notebooks to keep track of things. It’s honest work in a place where everyone knows your name and where your family comes from, and we just keep at it day after day.
