Shri Hari Agency

If you walk down Koel Nagar Main Road in the Sundargarh district, you’ll find Shri Hari Agency. We are situated right near the Shiv Mandir, so we often hear the temple bells during the day. It’s a nice background sound while we are busy moving stock around. The agency is basically a big room filled with boxes and some old wooden shelves. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes when a big shipment arrives and we have to find space for everything. We don't have a lot of fancy signs or anything. People usually just find us because they know the landmark of the temple. The road outside stays pretty busy with scooters and people walking to the market. We spend a lot of our time checking off lists and talking to the delivery drivers who stop by. It’s not a complicated business. We just buy what’s needed and sell it to the people who come in. Sometimes we sit on the stools out front when things are quiet and just watch the traffic go by. Being in Koel Nagar feels right for us because it’s a lively neighborhood. We know most of our regular visitors by name, and we don't feel the need to act corporate or professional in a fake way. We just give people what they are looking for and keep the accounts in a thick ledger book on the main desk, which has worked fine for us so far.
