Our place is located in Koel Nagar, which is a fairly quiet part of Rourkela. We operate out of this district in Sundergarh, dealing with various items that come through our doors every week. It’s a lot of paperwork and moving crates around, to be honest. Some days are slow and we just sit around drinking tea, waiting for the phone to ring. Other days, three trucks show up at once and we’re all rushing to get everything sorted. The office isn't very big, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we do. We’ve been in this post area for a long time, so most of the local drivers know exactly where to pull in. We don't spend money on big signs or advertising because people usually find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been coming here for years. It gets hot in the summer here, so we have a couple of fans that stay on all day long. Sometimes the ledger gets a bit messy, but we eventually get all the numbers to line up. We just handle the distribution and make sure things get to where they're supposed to go. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy enough. Sundergarh is a good place to be based, even if the roads get a bit bumpy during the monsoon season. We just carry on with our daily routines, making the most of what we have in this part of town.
