Pati & Bros.

Pati & Bros. is a family-run thing based at Plot No- C-536 in Koel Nagar. Being in Sundargarh, it gets really hot, so we usually have the coolers running full blast. The office is a bit cramped because there are a few of us sharing the same space. Files are everywhere, mostly stacked on the floor because the shelves are already full. We do a bit of everything here. It’s been this way for years. My brother handles the outside stuff and I stay here to answer the phone and talk to anyone who walks in. Koel Nagar is a decent neighborhood, fairly quiet mostly. We are right at C-536, a white building that’s started to gray a bit at the edges. We don't use any fancy software, just some old ledgers and a computer that takes forever to start up. People come to us because they know the family name. We don't do any big promotions or anything like that. It’s just honest work. Sometimes we argue about who left the lights on, but that’s just how it is with family businesses. We’ve been part of the district for a long time. If you need us, you just come to the plot. There’s usually a bike parked out front. It’s not much to look at, but Pati & Bros. keeps busy enough to keep us all working. We don't mind the clutter as long as the accounts are right and the clients are satisfied.
