You can find Noha Overseas at No. 146/1 Satti Street. Satti Street is a narrow one, and it gets quite crowded with scooters and people walking by. It has that old-market feel where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We’ve been here for years, and we’ve seen the street change quite a bit. Our work at Noha Overseas is mostly about moving things across borders. It sounds more exciting than it is. Mostly it’s just making sure the weight is right and the customs forms are filled out correctly. If you get one number wrong, the whole thing stops, so we are pretty careful. Our office is tucked away, and it’s usually full of the sound of people talking on phones or the printer running. We don't have fancy furniture. Most of our chairs are a bit squeaky and the desks have scratches on them. But they work fine. We aren’t trying to be some high-end firm. We are just local people running an export business. Sometimes we have a little lunch together in the back room. It’s a simple life. We deal with people from all over, but we are still just a small shop on Satti Street at heart. We don’t do much advertising. People find out about us by word of mouth or just by seeing our sign when they walk past. It’s been enough to keep us going. We just try to stay organized and keep the paperwork from piling up too high.
