Amar Construction Materials

Running Amar Construction Materials out of Shop No. B12 in Civil Lines keeps us pretty busy. Being right near the Masjid means we see a lot of people walking by every day. We handle things like cement bags, bricks, and whatever else people need for their houses. It gets a bit messy with all the sand and dust, but that’s just how a construction shop is. We’ve been here for a good amount of time and seen the neighborhood change a lot. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be careful how we stack everything so there's still room to walk. Usually, it's just a few of us here moving stuff around and talking to the drivers. People come in looking for advice on how many bags they need for a wall, and we just tell them what we know from seeing other projects. We don't have any flashy signs or big ads. Most of our work comes from people just knowing where we are. Dealing with the deliveries can be a headache when the street is crowded, but we get it done. It’s a simple life, just selling materials and making sure the counts are right. We try to stay organized even when things get chaotic during the busy season. It's a solid place to work, and being in Civil Lines is convenient for everyone nearby. We are just local people doing a job and trying to be useful for the builders around here.
