Steel Grip Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. is based out on Gijji Road, in the village of Samchana, which is part of Tehsil Sapla. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, away from the main city noise, but it works for the kind of infrastructure work we do. The road can get a bit bumpy depending on the weather, and there is often a lot of dust in the air from trucks passing by. Our office is just a plain spot where we keep our maps and project plans spread out on big tables. Being in a village like Samchana means things move a bit slower than in the city, but the work is still hard. We spend our days looking over site reports and talking to the crews who are out on different jobs. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just sit outside and wait for it to come back on. It’s a real rural setting, and you can hear the birds and the tractors in the fields nearby. We don’t have fancy glass walls or expensive furniture, just what we need to get the infrastructure projects moving along. It’s a practical place for people who aren't afraid of getting their boots a little dirty during the day. We’ve been part of the Samchana community for a while now, and we like being able to look out and see the open space while we work.
